GCP's production of

To Gillian on her 37th Birthday

March 19 - April 4, 2004

Written by Michael Brady

Directed by Donna Gilles and Rich Mach

The play revolves around a family weekend gathering. David, the central character has shut himself off from his family and has fallen into a state of depression since his wife, Gillian, died. He leads the life of a recluse, doing his best to avoid any relationship that looks like it could lead to a romantic entanglement. When he gets especially lonely Gillian's apparition appears to him. David's daughter and other family members attempt to help him out of his depression unaware that this weekend gathering is set on the weekend of Gillian's birthday and death.
