GCP's production of

The Imaginary Invalid

March 26 - 29, 1952

Written by Moliere

Directed by Chris Rellas

"Setting for the show is the private sitting room in the home of Argan, the imaginary invalid, played by Dick Stein. Adele Schaff is seen as Toinette, an impudent servant girl, and Betty Ann Bradford is Angelique, Argan's daughter.
Most of the action concerns the fathers attempt to force Angelique on the stuffy Dr. Thomas Diaforus, in order to have a physician in the family who cater to Argan's fancied ailments. Wolfgang Haller plays the part of Thomas, and Klip Smith is seen as the elder Diaforus.
Alfred Gustinger portrays Angelique's real lover while Beline, Argan's scheming wife, is played by Gloria Grasmin". ---Jim Camp, Gainesville Daily Sun, March 27, 1952
