Blithe Spirit

Written by Noel Coward

Directed by Arthur Wyman

Blithe Spirit is a comedy with Coward's unmistakable witticism which turns itself into a good humored ghost story. A novelist and his second wife invite a medium into their home in order to learn the language of the occult. A seance brings back his first wife now dead for several years. The first wife mischieviously taunts him about their days and nights together. Since no one else can see her, everyone else thinks he is going mad.
