GCP's production of

Arms and the Man

December 2, 1935

Written by George Bernard Shaw

Directed by Kenneth Skaggs

One of Shaw's most distinguished plays, it was first presented in 1884. A satire on war and the professional fighting man, we see typical Shavian touches throughout that are very good fun. Of course, there are serious points to be made and so it is done in Shaw's usual brilliant manner.
