The classic musical Fiddler on the Roof kicks off what is sure to be another amazing season at the Gainesville Community Playhouse at the Vam York Theater.

But what may bethe biggest news is the launching of our new online ticketing system, implemented after many requests from our patrons.

Patrons will be able to go to www.gcplayhouse.org/tickets to access the new system and will be able to:

  • Select seats and purchase tickets for any of our shows. Tickets may be printed at home or be held at the theater to be picked up at Will Call the night of the show.
  • Season ticket holders will be able to exchange their tickets for another performance.
  • Flex ticket holders will be able to exchange their Flex tickets and reserve seats for desired performances.

We expect our new online system to be available Sept. 10, 2016.

New Ticket Prices and Packages

GCP is raising ticket prices slightly for next year as follows:

Adult: $22
Senior (age 60+): $18
Student/Child: $12

But with the slight increase in single ticket sales, GCP is providing a way for patrons to save money by offering Season Ticket Packages for both of our discounted tickets prices in addition to the adult price:

Adult Season Ticket: $110
Senior Season Ticket: $90
Student Season Ticket: $60

These prices amount to essentially paying for five shows and getting one show FREE. Also, Flex Six Tickets can be purchased at the same three price points. Identification may be required for discounted tickets.
